Police arrested the woman and her friend’s husband

New Delhi. Police have arrested two people, including one of his female relatives, in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old youth in Shastri Park area. The second accused is the husband of the woman’s friend. The woman has claimed that the accused relative was repeatedly raping her. After the death of her husband due to illness, he was troubling her a lot, to avenge which she executed the incident with her friend’s husband.
The police officer said that the accused have been identified as Salma, a resident of Badaun in UP and Irfan, a resident of Shastri Park DDA Flats. A semi-naked body was found near the wall of Bela Farm in Shastri Park on Sunday morning. Who was murdered with a knife. Police registered a case of murder and started investigation. The deceased was identified as Abuzar, a resident of Kasganj, UP. Police examined more than 20 CCTV cameras. A woman was seen with two youths at different times. Police reached DDA flats located in Shastri Park, from where accused Irfan was arrested. The police also caught Salma from this house.
During interrogation, Salma told that she was married to Akhtar two years back. He also has a child. After the marriage, Akhtar became ill. Even after getting a lot of treatment, he started getting weak. Meanwhile, her relative Abuzar raped her several times. Her husband died in January 2023 during treatment. To take revenge from her, she told the whole thing to her friend Shanno’s husband Irfan. Irfan agreed to get the accused out of the way. On the pretext of showing Yamuna flood on the day of the incident, she took Abuzar to Shastri Park area, where Irfan killed him and disposed of the body.
